In plain English:

  • We deliver sealed, pre-filled LPG cylinders to selected areas and time slots.
  • Please have your empty cylinder ready for a free one-for-one exchange (accepted types only as per list provided on website).
  • If your cylinder is not accepted, your order will be refunded minus the delivery fee.
  • LPG prices are regulated by Government. Last mile delivery, handling, and online service costs are excluded from the maximum regulated price and included in our pricing.
  • Your personal information is handled in line with South Africa’s POPIA legislation.

Terms and Conditions

Gas2Home (Pty) Ltd (“Gas2Home”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a private company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of South Africa. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Use of the Website

By using this website and/or placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

2. Cylinder Exchange

  • An empty gas cylinder must be available and accessible at delivery.
  • Exchanges are one-for-one and free of charge.
  • Only cylinder types listed on our website are accepted.
  • If a cylinder is rejected, the order will be refunded less the delivery fee.
  • The Gas2Home 9kg cylinder is the property of the customer, having been purchased by the customer, and will be accepted for exchange subject to the cylinder being in a safe, serviceable, and satisfactory condition.

3. Gas Supply and Delivery

  • LPG is supplied in sealed, pre-filled cylinders in compliance with safety laws.
  • Drivers are trained and vehicles licensed for dangerous goods transport.
  • You may refuse delivery if a safety seal is missing or tampered with.
  • Deliveries are limited to selected service areas.
  • Repeated failed deliveries may result in service suspension.

4. Communication

Order confirmations and service communications are sent using the contact details provided at checkout.

5. Personal Information (POPIA)

  • We process personal information in line with POPIA.
  • Information is used only for orders, delivery, billing, support, and compliance.
  • You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data.
  • Information is not sold and shared only where required to provide services or by law.

6. Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. All activity on your account is deemed authorised by you.

7. Orders and Risk

  • Orders are confirmed only once checkout is completed.
  • You must verify all order and delivery details before submitting.
  • Risk and ownership of LPG pass to you upon delivery.
  • Orders received via WhatsApp may be created on your behalf on the website.

8. Delivery Areas and Time Slots

  • Deliveries are limited to listed areas.
  • Time slots are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, or operations.
  • Delivery fees may be refunded for material delays, at our discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for loss, damage, or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

10. Regulated LPG Pricing

  • LPG prices for domestic use are legally regulated.
  • The regulated price excludes delivery, handling, and online service costs.
  • Our pricing includes these additional services.

11. Empty Deposit Cylinders

If we collect an empty deposit cylinder without an exchange, a fee equal to 50% of the  deposit applies to cover handling and transport. 

12. LPG Safety Disclaimer

  • Gas2Home supplies cylinders only and does not install or certify gas systems unless agreed in writing.
  • Customers must ensure installations and appliances comply with safety laws.
  • We are not liable for damage caused by unsafe installations or misuse.
  • If you smell gas or suspect a leak, stop using the gas and contact us immediately.

13. Consumer Protection Act

  • These Terms comply with the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.
  • Cooling-off rights may be limited once LPG has been delivered.
  • Nothing limits non-excludable consumer rights.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
